Armada Clip Grays in Tight Contest

Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Quebec Armada got the win.
Quebec overcame a superlative game from José Berrios to beat Georgia, 3-2. The Georgia pitcher took player of the game honors in a losing cause. He threw 8 innings of 3-hit ball. The winner was Baldassario Ardinghi in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Bernalldo Rocchi took the loss. Earning his 2nd save for Quebec was Joachim Doucet.
With the bases empty and no one out in the top of the ninth inning, first baseman Shunso Fukuda delivered big for the Armada. Quebec was trailing 2-1 when he belted a solo home run.
"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Quebec manager Jorge Morales.
The win brings the Armada to 7-3, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.
