Toreros Lose to Prowlers, 4-2

Oklahoma City pitcher Manuel Crespo did his part in helping his team beat the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The Prowlers saw their record improve to 43-63.
The Prowlers got a big at-bat from third baseman Jorge Sánchez. For the game, Sánchez went 2 for 3 with a double and a walk. In the top of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 16th double of the season gave Oklahoma City a 1-0 lead.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Oklahoma City manager Jorge Valdéz.
