Pioneers Drop Another One
|
The Kansas City Tornadoes faced a tough opponent in Vancouver pitcher Alejandro García, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Debris Field by a final score of 4-3. García went 8 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. The losses continue to add up for Vancouver, which has now fallen 12 times in a row.
Kansas City took a 4-2 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With one out, second baseman José Liñares hit a 2-run home run that brought the crowd to its feet.
"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Liñares told the Kansas City Herald.
