The Cabo San Lucas Toreros and Seattle Sasquatch provided some drama at Sick's Stadium.
Cabo San Lucas got a terrific game from left fielder Kajal Ghandi. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Seattle, 5-4. Ghandi was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. Seattle is now 48-53.
The Sasquatch got a lift from third baseman Kazuyoshi Takahashi who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the eighth inning off Amirtharaj Nagaraja. It was his 34th walk of the season and put Seattle in front, 5-4.
"I like to lead by example," said Takahashi. "I'm glad I could contribute to a good win."
