Bombers Stumble, Lose to Rhinos
|
The Rubber City Rhinos racked up a win at The Rubber Grounds, bumping off the South Carolina Bombers, 8-3. Dylan Butlin, who started for Rubber City, pitched effectively for his team. Butlin went 8.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 8 hits, walked 1, and struck out 4. His record improves to 1-1. Rubber City now owns a record of 57-44.
Pedro Martínez, who is rated as the 27th best prospect by BNN, aided the Rubber City cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the designated hitter went 1 for 2, while adding 3 RBI.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Butlin.
