Texans Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Blazers
The Dallas Texans faced a tough opponent in Bloomington pitcher Rubén Cabrera, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Metroplex Park by a final score of 3-2. Cabrera went 6.1 innings and allowed no earned runs. Dallas reliever Austin Price got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Davis Marés was tagged with the loss. The save went to Adrien Clément, his 29th this season.

In the bottom of the 8th, center fielder Juan Calderon gave Dallas the lead when he hit a 2-run double. The Texans had been trailing 2-1, but the two-out double off Bloomington pitcher Davis Marés changed that -- and Dallas went on to win.

"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Bloomington skipper Javier Ramírez.

Dallas currently is in third place in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division at 49-51.
