Hara Twirls a Gem for Dallas
|
In a well-pitched game between the Dallas Texans and the Seattle Sasquatch, pitcher Toin Hara was superb. The Dallas right-hander was named the player of the game in Dallas's 2-1 win. Adrien Clément finished to wrap up his 5th save. The Texans, now 8-3, have played some good baseball in the early going.
Hara, the winner, is now 1-1. In 8 innings of work, he gave up 1 earned run on 3 hits, while collecting 9 Ks. He essentially shut down the Seattle offense.
"Sometimes, you can be too aggressive," said Seattle manager Carl Best. "You need to let the game come to you."
