Columbus left-hander Chris Riddle pitched his team to victory over the Havana Stogies at The Humidor. The final score was 6-3. Losses have been rare for the Stogies, who are now 9-1.

The Columbus triumph was a team effort. Not least among the contributors was John Huot. In the top of the second, the Columbus right fielder hit a 3-run home run. It staked his team to a 3-0 lead.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Huot.
