So Cal Win League Pennant
|
A 4-1 triumph at Aloha Stadium has wrapped up the League Pennant for the So Cal Republic.
"We're off to the ABL World Series," said Republic starting pitcher Felipe Rodríguez, who was named series MVP after his club eliminated the Hawaii Islanders by a series score of 4-1. "You can never take a win in a series like this for granted," he said.
The So Cal Republic will play against the Eureka Hornets in the next round. Eureka won their series against the South Carolina Bombers 4 games to 1. The ABL World Series schedule will be announced after the League Pennant finishes.
