Brown, Rats Sink Shamrocks Again in Game 3
The Rock River Rats are one game away from a sweep of the Pacifica Shamrocks today after a 5-4 road win at McCormick Field. Rats designated hitter Elijah Brown was named player of the game, as he was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Rock River now holds a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 Double A World Series.

The most crucial at-bat for Rock River came in the top of the ninth inning. That's when Brown stroked a first pitch fastball to right-center for a run-scoring double, putting Rock River up, 5-4.

"We have been clicking right from the start of this series, so our mission statement at the moment is just don't tinker with anything," Rock River manager Hervé Barthélémy told reporters.

Game 4 is set to be played on Saturday, October 23rd, 2032 at McCormick Field. Slated to start are Adam Lewis for the Rats and Félix Ruíz for the Shamrocks.
