Quiñones Blasts Republic, Texans Take Game 2, 8-4
The Dallas Texans defeated the So Cal Republic, 8-4 in Game 2 of the Divisional Championship today. Earning player of the game honors was shortstop Rodrigo Quiñones, who was 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The win moves Dallas into a 1-1 tie with So Cal in the series.

The game turned with one out in the top of the sixth when Quiñones hit a 3-run home run. It propelled the Texans into the lead, 7-4.

"We're happy," Quiñones told reporters after the win. "When you're in the playoffs, you've got to treat every game like it could be your last."

Game 3 is set to be played on Friday, October 22nd, 2032 at Metroplex Park. The scheduled starters for the game are Elias Bowen for So Cal and Paul Johnston for Dallas.
