The New York Mafia defeated the Oklahoma City Prowlers, 4-3, in Roberto Clemente League action at Memorial Circle Park, with New York pitcher Jun'ichi Suzuki named player of the game. Kenny Allen, credited with the save, is now 11 for 11 in save opportunities. The Mafia move to 33-66 with the win, while the Prowlers drop to 38-61.

Chipping in for New York was third baseman Denzel Tatchell. He stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth. For the game, Tatchell was 2-5 with 2 singles.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Oklahoma City manager Jorge Valdéz said following the tough loss.
