The Eureka Hornets got an exceptional performance from starter Pat Sheffield, who silenced the Quebec offense en route to a 5-0 shutout win in Game 2 of the Divisional Championship today. The Armada could never get a bead on the right-handed Sheffield, who threw 9 innings of shutout ball to earn player of the game honors. The Hornets now hold a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-7 series.

Sheffield, who was born in Moncton, Canada, threw 142 pitches over 9 innings, while allowing no earned runs.

"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Sheffield.

The next game is set to be played on Friday, October 22nd, 2032 at Lucky 7 Ballpark. The scheduled starters for the game are Pat Sheffield for the Hornets and Yohann Bosler for the Armada.
