Eureka starter Pat Sheffield pitched effectively against the Kansas City Tornadoes at The Nest. The right-hander led his team to a 5-3 win. Ashoka Pancholi earned the save, his 27th, for the Hornets. The slumping Tornadoes have dropped 6 in a row.
