Blazers Sink Pioneers, 3-2

The Bloomington Blazers got a good effort from starter Kulapati Pandian in defeating the Vancouver Pioneers at Celestrial Fields at Hermann Park. The final score was 3-2. Toyotomi Nakano picked up the save for Bloomington, his 13th of the year. Their 46-47 record puts the Blazers 4th in the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division.
The Blazers grabbed the lead in the bottom of the third. With one out, Henry Morris, who is rated as the 46th best prospect by BNN, hit a 2-run home run off Daryl Wyles, putting Bloomington in front, 2-1. For Morris, it was his 2nd home run of the season.
"There are no moral victories," said losing manager Emmett Brown.
