Seattle Beats Dallas, 4-1
|
The Seattle Sasquatch went home winners at Sick's Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Matt Nolan. Nolan silenced the Dallas Texans, enabling Seattle to grab the 4-1 win. Nolan picked up the win for Seattle, going 7.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 8 hits. He now sports a record of 7-1. Seattle now owns a record of 43-51.
Seattle center fielder Robby Sanchez helped the Sasquatch to the win. In the bottom of the third inning, the 20-year old center fielder stroked a single. For the game, Sanchez was 1-3 with a walk.
"I like what I saw today," said Seattle manager Carl Best, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
