Host Pioneers Drop Pivotal Game 5, Now Trail Series 3-2
South Carolina Bombers center fielder Rafael Campos was the difference-maker at The Royal Court at Jersey Yards today, winning player of the game honors as he led his club to victory in a pivotal Game 5 of the Divisional Championship. The Bombers took the 7-5 win over the Vancouver Pioneers to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.

This game was not decided until late. With one out in the top of the ninth, Bill Hawken hit a sacrifice fly. The Bombers took the lead, 6-5.

Hawken said afterward that his team has grown over the course of the season, adding: "It feels good when a plan comes together."

Game 6 is set to be played on Tuesday, October 26th, 2032 at Bomber Ballpark. Slated to start are Kenko Samurakami for Vancouver and Ange Schmit for South Carolina.
