Havana left-hander Joe Hardy made an effective start against the Columbus Aces at The Humidor, leading his team to a 6-2 win. Havana has an impressive 69-26 record.

Kohei Matsumoto came through for Havana in the bottom of the fourth. With no one out, Matsumoto victimized Greg Finley with a solo home run. It was his 18th home run of the season and put Havana on top, 2-1.

Matsumoto attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
