Texans Best Sasquatch in Pitching Duel
|
The Dallas Texans faced a tough opponent in Seattle pitcher Dennis Montgomery, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Sick's Stadium by a final score of 2-0. Montgomery went 8 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Dallas is third in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division with a record of 45-45.
Dallas third baseman Esteban Ruíz helped the Texans go up, 1-0, in the top of the fourth inning. With the game tied, Ruíz hit a solo home run off Seattle pitcher Dennis Montgomery.
