The Chippewa River Chiefs got a complete game effort from starter Troy Lamb to move into a 2-2 tie with the Brisbane Bush Wackers in the best-of-7 Single A World Series.

The Chippewa right-hander went the distance at Baylor Ballpark, cooling off the Brisbane Bush Wackers and striking out 4 to help Chippewa take the 2-0 win that knotted the series.

Lamb, a native of Merced, California, was dealing all game. He kept Brisbane hitters off-balance, while giving the River Chiefs 9 quality innings. Lamb threw 89 pitches, allowing 2 hits and striking out 4.

"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Lamb.

Game 5 is set to be played on Saturday, October 23rd, 2032 at Baylor Ballpark. The scheduled starters for the game are Lorenzo Chavez for Chippewa and Lúcio Barrón for Brisbane.
