Black Squirrels Even With Bush Wackers After Extra-Innings Win
Bobby Savoy pitched well, but the Brisbane Bush Wackers lost anyway, falling 6-4 in extra innings to the Tree City Black Squirrels at Baylor Ballpark. With the win, Tree City took a 2-2 lead in the best-of-7 Single A League Championship. Savoy was named player of the game after giving the Bush Wackers 6 innings and allowing 2 earned runs.

Yasuo Sakamoto made it 6-4 in favor of Tree City when he delivered a 2-run home run. It came with no one out in the top of the tenth. The Black Squirrels went on to win.

"I hate extra innings," Tree City manager James Lee said. "It makes everyone more tired, wears out the bullpen, wears out the fans. Even winning doesn't make me feel good about it."

The next game is scheduled for Thursday, October 14th, 2032 at Baylor Ballpark. Slated to start are Jun Zhou for the Black Squirrels and Félix Ruíz for the Bush Wackers.
