Black Squirrels Hammered by Yaung, Fall Further Behind in R1
|
Riding the 3-hit performance of first baseman Insung Yaung, the Brisbane Bush Wackers got a road win against the Tree City Black Squirrels, 4-3, in Game 2 of the Single A League Championship today. Yaung was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs for the Bush Wackers, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 0.
Jerry Swope chipped in for Brisbane, stroking a crucial run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning. For the game, the second baseman went 1 for 4.
"By the skin of our teeth, man," Yaung told the Brisbane Observer. "But hey, it still counts. A few more by the skin of our teeth is fine with me."
Game 3 is scheduled for Tuesday, October 12th, 2032 at Baylor Ballpark. The scheduled starters for the game are Bob Galloway for the Black Squirrels and Lúcio Barrón for the Bush Wackers.
