The Rock River Rats moved to within one game of the Double A World Series today, downing the visiting Carson City Mustang at The Rat Hole by a score of 4-2. Rats left-hander Adam Lewis was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball. The win gives the Rats a 4-3 advantage in the best-of-7 Double A League Championship.

Tucker Slade contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he got hit by a pitch. It was one at-bat that helped Rock River get the win.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Lewis.
