Rats Even With Mustang After Home Win
The Rock River Rats topped the Carson City Mustang by the score of 5-4 and moved into a 1-1 tie in the Double A League Championship today. The largest share of the credit went to player of the game and Rock River starter Gonzalo Ramírez, who threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball in the win.

Scott McFarland provided some late-game heroics for Rock River. In the bottom of the eighth inning, he hit a run-scoring single. It came on a 1-0 fastball from Mal Goff and propelled Rock River to a 5-4 lead.

"We did enough to win," said McFarland.

The next game is scheduled for Tuesday, October 12th, 2032 at Cowboys Stadium. The scheduled starters for the game are Adam Lewis for Rock River and Maurice Bignold for Carson City.
