Riverside Wins at Home to Narrow Series Deficit to 3-2
The Riverside Red Bulls nearly wasted a strong game from starter Héctor González, but were saved by some timely hitting in a 9th inning walk-off win over the Pacifica Shamrocks today.

González was named player of the game in the 4-3 win at Red Bull Stadium, after he threw 5 innings of shutout ball. The win allowed Riverside to cut the Pacifica lead in the best-of-7 series to 2-3.

Haruhiko Yamanaka was the walk-off hero for Riverside. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Red Bulls right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Pacifica manager Joe Leftwich.

Game 6 is set to be played on Saturday, October 16th, 2032 at McCormick Field. The scheduled starters for the game are Jiro Watanabe for the Red Bulls and Grant Huffman for the Shamrocks.
