RF Durán Lights Up Freeze for 5 RBIs as Coal Miners Tie R1
The Antioch Coal Miners defeated the Minneapolis Freeze, 15-3 in Game 4 of the Triple A League Championship today. Earning player of the game honors was right fielder Manny Durán, who hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. The win moves Antioch into a 2-2 tie with Minneapolis in the series.

Jim Commo did his part for the Coal Miners, producing a bases-clearing double in the top of the fifth inning. For the game, the first baseman went 3 for 6 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5.

"It feels a lot better to be tied than to be behind, even if it is only one game," Antioch manager John Smiley said.

The next game is scheduled for Thursday, October 14th, 2032 at The Ice Box. The scheduled starters for the game are Lloyd Huggins for Antioch and Dave Sherrill for Minneapolis.
