Ogura Blasts Freeze, Coal Miners Take Game 3, 8-5
Already down in the Triple A League Championship, the Antioch Coal Miners put on their best show, beating the Minneapolis Freeze by a final score of 8-5 today. Jun Ogura earned player of the game honors, as he was 3-4 with a home run, a triple, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Antioch now trails Minneapolis 2-1 in the best-of-7 affair.

Alex Prado's hit in the top of the tenth was a game-changer. With no one out, he rapped a changeup from Yaichiro Tamura for a solo home run. It put Antioch in front, 6-5.

"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Prado.

The next game is scheduled for Wednesday, October 13th, 2032 at The Ice Box. Slated to start are Matsuyo Koda for the Coal Miners and Bruce Brown for the Freeze.
