Hiller Blasts Flash, Coal Miners Take Game 4, 6-3
|
The Antioch Coal Miners knotted up the Triple A World Series at Durham Bulls Athletic Park today, thanks in large part to center fielder Fletch Hiller. Hiller was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles as he overpowered the Fairfield Flash, enabling Antioch to grab the 6-3 win and move into a 2-2 tie in the best-of-7 series.
In the top of the sixth inning, catcher Jun Ogura came through big-time for the Coal Miners. With Antioch leading 3-2, he belted a solo home run.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Ogura told the Antioch Citizen.
Game 5 is set to be played on Saturday, October 23rd, 2032 at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Slated to start are Willi Kehr for the Coal Miners and Camilo Pascual for the Flash.
