The Fairfield Flash moved to within one game of the Triple A World Series today, downing the visiting Fort Worth Cats at Durham Bulls Athletic Park by a score of 5-4. Flash center fielder Javier Santos was named player of the game after he was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The win gives the Flash a 4-2 advantage in the best-of-7 Triple A League Championship.

Justin Dixon had a clutch at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for the Flash. Coming up with the bases loaded and Fairfield trailing 4-3, he hit a 2-run double.

"We haven't stopped playing," Fort Worth manager Lowell Wise said. "We didn't get this far to give up."
