Dallas Takes Divisional Round
|
The Divisional Round didn't live up to the billing from those who thought it would be an all-out battle to the last game.
But the Dallas Texans are no doubt pleased by the results, as they have knocked out the Rubber City Rhinos 4-2 to advance to the Divisional Championship.
"It doesn't matter how you win it, as long as you win it and get yourself moving forward," said Texans first baseman Wen Wei. "I know a lot of people thought this was going to be a really tight series the whole way through, but we're glad it didn't go right down to the wire."
Dallas won the final game by a score of 2-0 at The Rubber Grounds.
Wei was named series MVP after hitting .500 with a .526 on-base percentage. He also had 0 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 2 runs.
The Dallas Texans will play against the So Cal Republic in the next round. So Cal had a bye in the Divisional Round. The Divisional Championship schedule will be announced after the Divisional Round finishes.
