Pivotal Game 5 Goes to Host Texans, 2-1
The Dallas Texans moved to within one game of the Divisional Championship today, downing the visiting Rubber City Rhinos at Metroplex Park by a score of 2-1. Texans right-hander Paul Johnston was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 7 innings of 5-hit ball. The win gives the Texans a 3-2 advantage in the best-of-7 Divisional Round.

Juan Calderon, the Dallas center fielder, contributed a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth inning to make the score 2-1, Texans. For the game, Calderon went 1-4 with a home run.

"The old adage is true," said Calderon. "Good pitching stops good hitting."

The next game is set to be played on Saturday, October 16th, 2032 at The Rubber Grounds. Slated to start are Paul Johnston for the Texans and Bob Ruíz for the Rhinos.
