Butlin, Rubber City Start Divisional Round Strong with Home Win
The Divisional Round got off to a quiet start today, with the host Rubber City Rhinos taking a low-scoring 2-0 win over the Dallas Texans. Rubber City right-hander Dylan Butlin was marvelous at The Rubber Grounds and was named player of the game. The Rhinos now hold a 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Butlin, who was born in Wolverton-Stony Stratford, England, threw 66 pitches over 6 innings, while allowing no earned runs.

"Runs were at a premium," said Rubber City manager Larry Johnson.

The next game is scheduled for Sunday, October 10th, 2032 at The Rubber Grounds. Slated to start are Paul Johnston for the Texans and Sigfrid Arnim for the Rhinos.
