Hawaii Win Evens Series at 2
|
The Hawaii Islanders knotted up the Divisional Round at Blue Ivy Stadium today, thanks in large part to starter Joe Good. Good quieted the Brooklyn Black Knights, enabling Hawaii to grab the 3-0 win and move into a 2-2 tie in the best-of-7 series.
Good delivered a quality start for Hawaii. The 6' 1" left-hander allowed no runs on 6 hits over 8 innings of work.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Hawaii manager Leland Ray.
Game 5 is scheduled for Thursday, October 14th, 2032 at Blue Ivy Stadium. Slated to start are Joe Good for the Islanders and Clarence Byrd for the Black Knights.
