Mustangs Hammered by Fukuda, Drop Game 2 to Armada
|
Quebec first baseman Shunso Fukuda produced all the offense the Armada would need today in the club's 6-0 win over the Mile High Mustangs.
Fukuda went 3-3 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice and was named player of the game, while Quebec moved into a tie in the Divisional Round. The Armada and Mustangs are now even at 1-1 in the best-of-7 series.
The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth when Fukuda, who is a three-time All-Star, hit a solo home run. It propelled the Armada into the lead, 1-0.
Mustangs manager Joe Ward did not take questions after the game, telling assembled reporters that he would hold a press conference "if and when we win the ABL World Series."
Game 3 is set to be played on Tuesday, October 12th, 2032 at McNichols Stadium. The scheduled starters for the game are Adhipa Vemireddy for the Armada and Drstasara Sahni for the Mustangs.
