The Mile High Mustangs started the Divisional Round in style today, winning on the road against the Quebec Armada at Lucky 7 Ballpark by a score of 5-2 to take an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Mustangs designated hitter Evan Hemming was named player of the game after he was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice.

Hemming's nice game included a clutch 2-run home run in the top of the first.

"Things broke our way today and that's great," Mustangs manager Joe Ward said. "It's important, though, to stay focused and not pat yourself on the back too much. We aren't done yet."

Game 2 is scheduled for Sunday, October 10th, 2032 at Lucky 7 Ballpark. Slated to start are Jose Albertrani for Mile High and Yohann Bosler for Quebec.
