Flash Hammered by Durán, Drop Game 2 to Coal Miners
The Antioch Coal Miners relied on the hitting of right fielder Manny Durán to get by the Fairfield Flash, 5-2, in Game 2 of the Triple A World Series today. For the game, Durán went 2 for 4 with a home run and a triple, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The clubs are now tied, 1-1.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fifth when Durán, who is rated as the 29th best prospect by BNN, hit a run-scoring triple. It propelled the Coal Miners into the lead, 3-2.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Durán.

The next game is set to be played on Thursday, October 21st, 2032 at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Slated to start are Matsuyo Koda for Antioch and Frank Hillier for Fairfield.
