In a tight contest at Bomber Ballpark, the South Carolina Bombers edged the Cabo San Lucas Toreros by the score of 4-3. South Carolina first baseman Bill Hawken, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. The save went to Christian Wallace, his 5th this season. The losing skid has reached 6 games for Cabo San Lucas.

Hawken provided the big break for the Bombers in the bottom of the fourth inning. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run, helping South Carolina to get the win.

"We missed opportunities once again," said losing manager Matt Johnson.
