Beavers Stumble, Lose to Sasquatch
The Seattle Sasquatch defeated the Portland Beavers, 10-4, at Waterfront Park today. Leading the charge for Seattle was first baseman Ruberto Sucena. He slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. António Navarro earned the win for Seattle. He lasted 5.2 innings, allowing 4 earned runs on 7 hits, while striking out 2. With the win, he raised his record to 3-5. Koryusai Uchida finished to wrap up his 2nd save.

In the top of the first, Sucena had one of his most important at-bats: a 2-run home run off Iván Morales that staked the Sasquatch to a 2-0 lead.

"Getting the win feels nice," said Sucena. "More importantly, I had a good game."

Seattle is now 39-48, while Portland is 37-52.
