Chris Anderson pitched a gem to lead Riverside to a 2-1 victory over the Pitman High Panthers. Riverside improves to 42-24 with the win. They lead their division by 2 games.
In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 1-1, designated hitter Andrew Tipton won it for Riverside. With a runner on 3rd, Tipton hit a full count fastball from Danny Ventimiglia for a run-scoring double, giving his team a 2-1 win.
"This place was jumping at the end," Tipton said.
