Panthers Continue Skid Thanks to Cooley, Titans
A 4-RBI performance from Aaron Cooley helped the Carl Albert Titans beat the Pleasantville Panthers, 13-9. Carl Albert reliever Eric Pitcher picked up the win, upping his record to 5-1. Bobby Morey was saddled with the loss. The losing streak for Pleasantville has now reached 4 games.

Had it not been for Doug Becker, the results might have been different. In the bottom of the seventh inning, when the Titans were trailing 8-7, Becker hit a 2-run single for Carl Albert, giving his team the lead.

"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Becker told the Carl Albert Gazette.
