The Grand Island Islanders topped the College Park, 6-2, with youngster Kevin McCarthy playing a key role. McCarthy went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles for the Islanders in the win. The Islanders go to 30-35, putting them last in the Hank Aaron League Bob Gibson Division.
