Chargers Prevail, 5-3, Over Canby

Dustin Noah left his imprint on the 5-3 Topeka West win against the Canby Lancers. Noah, who is tied for 6th in the PRL in bases on balls with 46, was 1 for 2 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Jabari Hailey, credited with the save, is now 3 for 4 in save opportunities. The first-place Chargers have a one-game lead in their division.
When the Chargers needed a boost, it was the light-hitting Noah who delivered. Facing Canby pitcher Matt Lira the top of the fifth with runners on 1st and 2nd, Noah hit his 16th home run of the year. It made the score 4-0.
"A great game, a great day," said Noah about the win. "I can't complain."
