Mustangs Walk Off with 6-5 Win
The Downsview Mustangs beat the Lerna Lions, 6-5, in 11 innings. Downsview shortstop Dallas Lingo merited player of the game honors with his performance. He was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Manny Rodriguez picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-2. Yodo Oyama was tagged with the loss. The Mustangs improved to 27-35.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With two out, Lingo hit a curveball from Jonathan Lalonde for a run-scoring single. The Mustangs, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
