Big Day by Hanson Ignites Patriots Win
Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Bill Hanson, the Francis Lewis Patriots defeated the Tenafly Tigers, 5-1. Hanson was 3-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Patriots. Francis Lewis improves to 38-24 with the win. They lead their division by 3 games.

When the Patriots needed a boost, it was the light-hitting Hanson who delivered. Facing Tenafly pitcher Bryce Riley the bottom of the fifth with runners on 1st and 2nd, Hanson hit his 18th home run of the year. It made the score 4-0.

"The division is still up for grabs, but I like our chances," Hanson told the Francis Lewis Today.
