Marauders Come Back Late to Top Toreros
|
The Maple Marauders picked up a win at Legends Park, knocking off the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 4-3. Starting pitcher Will Caron was an essential part of his team's success. Maple reliever Marcos León got the win, raising his record to 6-2. Lloyd Hunt was tagged with the loss. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Marauders.
Maple took a 4-3 lead on Jae-hoon Park's 10th home run of the season. The solo home run came off Cabo San Lucas pitcher Lloyd Hunt in the bottom of the ninth.
"This place went bonkers at the end," Park said.
