Mustangs Stick Lions with 9-2 Loss
Riding the 2-hit performance of the 16-year old left fielder Thomas Crawford, the Downsview Mustangs stopped the Lerna Lions, 9-2. Downsview reliever Jeff Gregson picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-3. Ray Lewis was collared with the loss. The Mustangs saw their record improve to 26-35.

Kevin Ryan played a key role in the win. The Downsview first baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, Ryan was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"We took it on the chin today," said losing manager Nick Riddick.
