Beavers Win in 14
The Portland Beavers outlasted the Seattle Sasquatch, 7-6, in 14 innings. Teruo Sato led the way, going 4-for-6 for Portland. The Beavers saw their win-loss record go to 37-50. At the same time, the Sasquatch fell to 37-48.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 14th. With one out, Sato hit a fastball from Kirk Redman for a run-scoring single. The Beavers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"The game is never over 'til it's over," said a jubilant Ryan Blandford, the Portland skipper.
