Late Rally by Golden Bears Secures Win
Billings West Golden Bears starter Chris Ryan turned in a workmanlike performance against the Canby Lancers at Guadalajara HS Grounds. He threw 8 innings allowing 5 runs in the 6-5 win. Billings West occupies second place in the Pete Rose League Alex Rodriguez Division at 30-26.

The game was at a stalemate until second baseman David Keeley came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Canby pitcher Jason Kinder, he hit a 0-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Billings West on top, 6-5.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Billings West manager Brian Neyman.
