The Riverside Poly did just enough to sneak past the Jefferson Indians, 10-9, at Apollos Ballpark. Riverside first baseman Aiden Weil earned player of the game honors. Reliever Shinjiro Imai picked up the win. His record improves to 4-0. Paul Giglio took the loss. Mike Aldridge converted his 9th save in 9 tries.

Marshall Clark was one of the major contributors to the win for Riverside. The light-hitting left fielder stroked a single to left in the bottom of the eighth inning. For the day, he went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles.

"Ugly win or not, we'll take it," said Weil.

Riverside goes to 37-19. The win puts them 2 games up in their division.
