Weiss Spins Gem, Hawaii Wins
|
The game between Hawaii and Brooklyn is in the books, despite a little rain.
Ehrich Weiss pitched a gem to lead Hawaii to a 7-0 victory over the Brooklyn Black Knights. The second-place Islanders now have a 10-game winning streak.
Weiss delivered a quality start for Hawaii. The 6' 0" right-hander allowed no runs on 5 hits over 8.1 innings of work.
"Hitting, winning. It's just contagious," said Weiss.
